SKY TOWER

At 328 metres Sky Tower (opened in 1997) is the tallest tower in the Southern Hemisphere. Although, the main observation deck is only 186m and the 2nd observation deck "Sky Deck" is 194m. However, on a clear day you can see approximately 82 kilometres (51 miles) from the Tower.

For the more adventurous you can take a "Sky Jumb" from the tower. You fall at approx 85kph for around 11 seconds before slowing in the last few metres to land gently. Unlike bungy jumping, there is no hanging upside down or bouncing around. You simply fall … fast & smooth.... for 192m!

From the main observation deck you can observe the jumpers fall, which is really fun!!! Or watch them fall for free, outside at the bottom of the tower.

The tower also houses a cafe on the main observation deck, while on higher decks there are a revolving restaurant and a seafood Buffet Restaurant. There is also a gift shop on the ground floor.
