  CREDIT CARDS

Visa, MasterCard are all widely accepted in Malta, American Express less so! (Small shops may not take credit cards)


  MONEY EXCHANGE

You can change cash at Banks in Malta

There are several ATM machines in Malta, which may be cheaper to withdraw money using your debit or credit card, but this depends on your individual bank charges!!

Closed Sundays


  TIPPING

Restaurant 10% (if service is not included)

Taxi: Don't normally expect tips - but give 10% if feeling generous
