
The Tokyo International Forum, with 11 stories above ground and 3 below, is a magnificent venue (completed in 1996) embracing a glass atrium and four buildings each housing a unique hall.
It is designed by architect Rafael Vinoly, who won a competition to build it. It is famous for its swooping curve shape in glass and steel, set off across its plaza.
The building serves as a convention center and houses four halls of different sizes for symphonies, theater and concerts, event rooms etc. It also has restaurants, coffee shops, gift stores, a gallery and Information Lobby.
