POPULAR SHOPPING AREAS IN TOKYO There are many many Shopping areas in Tokyo with large department stores that sell almost anything! If you want it you will probably find it in Tokyo, particularly electronics and fashion. Ginza, Shibuya and Shinjuku are the most happening shopping areas, as is Roppongi Hills shopping centre. Tokyo has areas which are famous for a particular commodity: The main area for electronics and anime (animation) and manga (comics) is Akihabara; Shinjuku is the place to go for cameras; Ginza and Shibuya are the places to go for fashion.
