HARA MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART




The Hara Museum of Contemporary Art, which opened in 1979, is housed in a 1938 three-story Bauhaus-style building with sculpture gardens.

The museum stages several exhibitions annually with some on the cutting edge of international art, as well as its own collection of arts from 1950s by Japanese and foreign artists, including works by Christo and Andy Warhol.
