If arriving at Kansai International Airport take the Airport express 'Haruka' to Kyoto (approx 1 hour 15 mins)
If arriving at Narita International Airport (NRT), you can take an internal flight to Itami Airport (Osaka) (approx 1 hour 15 mins) then Limousine Bus to Kyoto Station (approx 1 hour).
Or take the JR Narita Express (NEX) to Tokyo station (approx 1 hour) and then the Shinkansen (Bullet Train) to Kyoto station (approx 2 hours & 15 Mins).
If arriving at Haneda Airport (HND), you can take an internal flight to Itami Airport (Osaka) (approx 1 hour ) then Limousine Bus to Kyoto Station (approx 1 hour).
Or take the Tokyo Monorail to Hamamatsucho Station, where you can take the Yamanote Line to Tokyo Station, and then the Shinkansen (Bullet Train) to Kyoto station (approx 2 hours & 15 Mins).
