CHURCH OF SAN MICHELE ARCANGELO




An early Christian church. Its origins go back to the 5th century. It has 14th century frescoes.

It is located at the far end of Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi - running north from Piazza Fortebraccio.

The church is also known as Tempietto di S. Angelo.

Next to the church is Cassero di Porta San Angelo , which, for a small price, you can climb for some good sights of the city and valley.

The Church is FREE to enter

It will normally be closed between 12:00 - 16:00
