
The Cathedral of San Lorenzo stands in the main square on the grounds of a former 10th century church. The first stone was laid in 1345, but contruction did not start proper until around 1437 and continued until around 1587, but was never fully completed as the fascade was left unfinished.
Inside the cathedral are three separate Gothic naves of equal height.
The cathedral has a museum Museo del Capitolo - located in a courtyard at the back. Either enter from inside the cathedral at the back or to the left of of the cathedral outside.
Entry to the cathedral is Free. There is a charge for the museum
