The 302 acre public City Park is not a particularly beautiful park, but it is still a nice place to relax and to take a stroll.
In and around the park can be found many major tourist attractions including Vajdahunyad Castle; The Transport Museum; Heroes' Square, The Museum of Fine Arts; Mucsarnok Palace of Fine Arts; the Vidampark funfair; a zoo; and Szechenyi Gyogyfurdo (thermal baths).
