The Transport Museum of Budapest is a must for childen and dads! It has many impressive large-scale models of steam locomotive as well as a real size locomotive and wagons (that you can sit on) as well as a full size 1900 railway station station.
Other parts of the museum include the history of Hungarian road traffic from horse-drawn to machine-driven vehicles, with a collection of some wonderful old cars, motorcycles and bicycles.
There is an exhibition on the history of flight and space flight.
There is also a delightful model train set that runs for about 10 minutes several times a day.
