HOW TO GET TO PRAGUE


Prague's International airport Ruzyne, is located around 15km from central Prague.

There is a regular public shuttle bus transport run by CEDAZ between the Airport and city centre ("V Celnici" street, in front of CSA terminal, 50 m from Republic Square - namestí Republiky, close to hotels Hilton Prague Old Town and Marriott). Daily every 30 minutes, from around 7.30am to 7pm both ways.(Cost around 120 Czech crowns) .NOTE: The same company operate a mini- bus service to your hotel, and possibly other passengers hotels on the way, but this costs much more, but worth considering if there is a group of you!)

A cheaper option is public transport bus 119, which runs from Prague Airport to Dejvicka (metro line A) takes about 25 min; and Bus 100, which runs from Prague Airport - Zlicin (metro line B) in 20 min. (price around 30 Czech crown). To reach centre you would then use the Metro, using the same ticket.

Another cheap option is the Airport express bus to Prague main rail station, Hlavni nadeazi station, which is only 15 - 10 minute walk to city centre, or you can get the Metro from here. (The bus runs 5am till 10pm every 30 minutes.)

Taxi The reliable and trustworthy AAA radio taxi cabs can be found at Prague Airport Taxi Stands located directly in front of airport arrival halls - Terminal 1, Exit D and Terminal 2, Exit E. In case there are no cabs available at the stand, please contact the AAA radio taxi operators at 14014 or +420 222 333 222. (price around 600 to 800 czech crowns depending on traffic to centre of Prague)

You can also reach Prague by train from many European countries - arriving at Hlavni nadeazi station, which is only 5 - 10 minute walk to the city centre, and Nadrazi Holesovice station, located north of the river and further away from the centre.
