
The Mucha Museum is dedicated to the life and work of the world-acclaimed Czech Art Nouveau painter Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939), housed in the 18th century Baroque Kaunický Palace.
A selection of over 100 exhibits comprising paintings, photographs, charcoal drawings, pastels, lithographs and personal memorabilia provides a view into the universe of the artist who is most widely known for the posters he executed for Sarah Bernhardt.
A half hour long documentary film about the life and work of the artist is also a part of the exhibition.
