Žižkov television tower, a unique structure designed by Vaclav Aulicky, standing at 216 metres (708 feet) high, was built between 1985 and 1992.
The unconventional design of the tower resembles a rocket launchpad! It consists of three concrete pillars, with pods attached that house a restaurant and cafe at 66 metres (216 feet), and observation rooms at around 93 metres (305 feet) with panorama views of Prague.
Another unusual feature are the several sculptures of crawling babies attached to the tower's pillars - looking like they are climbing the tower. They were designed by Czech artist David Cerný and added as a permanent installation in 2001.
