Designed by Rod Robbie & Michael Allen, Rogers Centre, is a multi-purpose stadium built in 1989 and was noted for being one of the first stadiums to have a fully-retractable motorized roof. It also has a hotel attached to it!
The stadium was originally called "Skydome", but changed its name in 2005, after Rogers Communications acquired SkyDome from Sportsco.
It is home to Major League Baseball’s Toronto Blue Jays, the Canadian Football League’s Toronto Argonauts, concerts from some of the world’s top performers, soccer matches, motor sports, family shows, conventions, trade shows and private events.
Rogers Centre is now a Toronto landmark and is situated next to another landmark the CN Tower!
Rogers Centre Tour Experience is a one hour, fully-guided behind-the-scenes tour. Highlights of the tour include a visit to the Blue Jays Hall of Fame, a Press Box and a Luxury Suite among other stops.
