
The Royal Ontario Museum has numerous permanent galleries, and showcases a variety of changing special exhibitions.
There are six million objects in the ROM’s collections.
Throughout the Museum are themed galleries spanning both world cultures and natural history. Highlights include the Dinosaur Gallery, Galleries of Africa: Egypt, European history, Canadian history.
The Museum, which was established in 1912, has recently been renovated and expanded, including the new modern Michael Lee-Chin Crystal, which has been built into the existing historic structure.
