The Museum of Natural Sciences has permanent and temporary exhibitions.
It has Europe’s largest dinosaur gallery with the famous iguanodons of Bernissart and lots of new dinosaur skeletons and casts as well as interactive exhibits.
Other exhibitions include Gallery of Evolution - how living creatures change over time. No fewer than 600 fossils and 400 animal exhibits tell the story of animal biodiversity over the years. Biodiversity - silverfishes and agoutis, aardwolves and capybaras, tiger moths and tarantulas, cuttlefish and cat sharks... Minerals - crystals, cut gems, meteorites and precious bits of moon rock... 250 Years of Natural Sciences - features a path which you can follow via 20 milestones to discover 14 specimens, each of which has a remarkable story to tell about the history of the Museum and its Institute. At six key moments experience the transition from an 18th century cabinet of curiosities via a storeroom to a scientific research centre and innovative museum in the 21st century.
You may enjoy a drink or a snack in the Dino Café or buy something in the museum shop.
