This small museum presents costumes, lacework, embroidery, accessories and documents from the 18th to 20th century. The displays are changed each year. A free leaflet (also available in English) explains the latest exhibition items.
There is a short video on the subject of fashion, but it is in French!
Though there is a small collection of fine examples of delicate lacework, mostly displayed in cabinet drawers, the museum does not explain the important role lace has played over the centuries to the economy and culture of Brussels and Belgium has a whole.
