PRATER




Originally an imperial hunting ground, The Prater (6.143.984 square metres) offers a wide variety of open spaces, ranging from woods and meadows to city park.

The long Hauptallee road runs through the centre of the park lined with many chestnut trees and is the most pleasant part of the park.

The park also contains The Prater Amusement Park, including The Riesenrad (giant ferris wheel).

Address
The Prater is located in the 2nd district. There are several entrances to the park, but the easiest is probably corner of Praterstern/Ausstellungstrasse.
