Designed by Hannes Lintl, The Danube Tower (252 metres high) opened in 1964.
Take the express elevator up to the observation platform - 150m above ground and enjoy a panorama view of Vienna - Day and night.
There is also a rotating café, with home-made pastries, at 160m above the ground and a rotating restaurant.
Bungee jumping also takes place at the tower.
The Danube Tower is situated in Danube Park, which is adjoined to "UNO CITY" a new quarter in the city located just next to the riverside.(About 15 minute subway ride from old centre). This modern complex with high rise builings include a United Nations Building as well as offices, banks and a Television tower.

How to Get There
Take the U1 subway and get off at VIC / Kaisermühlen. Change to the bus line 20B and get off at the Danube Tower.
