Commerce - the working sea. Include life and work on the wharves of bygone days, the fishing industry, the dangerous world of whaling, and Australian coastal ships.
Merana Eora Nora - first people. This exhibition presents the living maritime cultures of today by focusing on real people from modern Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Navigators - defining Australia. Tells the story of mapping the coastline of Australia.
Navy Exhibition looks at the way in which the Royal Australian Navy has operated underwater, on the surface and in the air.
Passengers Exhibition conjures up an era of ocean liner travel that many can still remember from their own voyages to Australia.
The United States of America Gallery - linked by the sea. This gallery studies the interaction of two English-speaking cultures on opposite sides of the immense Pacific Ocean.
Watermarks - adventure, sport & play. A coastal culture's love of the water
The wharf space features some historic vessels, including the 1959 Royal Australian Navy Destroyer Vampire; and submarine HMAS Onslow.
There are several Guided tours free with museum ticket.

Museum ticket: FREE
Includes free entry to all museum galleries & special exhibitions, Maritime Heritage Centre at Wharf 7, the North wharf and marina to view the small fleet of historic vessels and the Cape Bowling Green lighthouse.
Big ticket ($30 AUS)
Includes entry to HM Bark Endeavour replica (when on site), the former RAN destroyer HMAS Vampire & audio guide, the former RAN submarine HMAS Onslow and the barque James Craig.
Navy ticket ($18 AUS)
Includes entry to the ex HMAS Vampire & audio guide and the ex HMAS Onslow.
James Craig ticket ($10)
Includes entry to the barque James Craig.
