Bondi Beach is a popular sandy beach located 7km (4 Miles) east of Downtown Sydney.
The beach is about a kilometre long and is a great place to sunbathe and watch the surfers etc.
There are many intesting cafes, bars and shops in the area.
You can also walk a delightful coastal path.
How to get there
Take the 380 bus. You can find the bus stop at various locations including Circular Quay or near Hyde Park (journey approx 40 mins). You can pay the driver. (There is an express bus that is quicker, but this is only prepaid - you cannot pay the driver).
